A super variety for cottage garden themes, the plants will reach an eventual height of appx 2 metres and produce tall stems that are sparcely coated with small leaves and have clusters of small purple flowers that last from Summer through to the Autumn.
After flowering the plants can be dead headed or left to produce further seed. Prune in the Spring to remove old growth after new shoots appear from the bottom of the plant
Sow the seeds thinly from March - May in small pots and cover to apprx 0.5 cm.
Keep moist and warm appx 18 - 21 deg C day and night.
Once the seeds have germinated and are large enough to handle they small plants can be individually potted on into 3" pots.
Keep these these in a cooler place but not below 10 deg c until they have hardened of.
Once all risk of frost has passed plant out in a sunny well drained position.
The seed can also be sown where they are to grow.
